Meet the Tutor

Amber Stueven is a veteran CC mom with 12 years of homeschooling experience.  After directing Challenge A during the initial launch year of Math Map, she decided to create additional video resources to support other Challenge A directors.  With the launch of Math Explorers, Amber is using her video skills to help students tackle to concepts of Math Map.

"I survived math classes through college and graduate school, but never felt like I was truly successful at understanding math....until the Math Map entered my life.  I strongly believe in the power of Math Map's grammar building and understanding the depth of math's relationship to our lives.  Math Map ignited a love of math in me that I didn't think was possible, and I hope to share that enjoyment with students earlier in their math journey."
